Izzy Gramp is a solo indie dev and a photographer. She fluctuates a lot between making silly and serious games. Currently she’s finishing off her project Intergalactic Space Princess, which is seriously silly. It was partly developed while at Stugan, an incubator in the remote Swedish forest with about 20 other devs. There was a lot of frolicking involved!
She has previously worked on All your Fault, a game about victim blaming and Faceless, an empathy game about asylum seekers. Izzy also participates in a many game jams, making lots of tiny games. She’s currently super interested in micro games experiences.
When she’s not making games, Izzy mostly takes photos…of games, which have appeared in a few places such as Killscreen, Giant Bomb and Venture Beat and an art gallery. She was also named runner up emerging fine art photographer in Australia.
Previously Izzy has run panels about mental health, serious games, participated in environmental game jams, and appeared in the MCV 30 under 30 list & influential women in games.
