About theVenue
The Boatbuilders Yard is a bar and café that brings a new style of relaxed and informal European-style eating and drinking to Melbourne. Conveniently located next to Polly Woodside and the Exhibition Centre on the banks of the Yarra River, The Boatbuilders Yard is positioned at the top of the South Wharf Boardwalk. Designed by Six Degrees, the venue retains the cultural heritage and charm of Melbourne’s famous Maritime precinct, with a modern design twist on the original shed.
