Getting to the MCEC

 

Taxi

Taxis take approximately 20 minutes from the airport and passengers should expect a fare of between $45 and $50.

Drop off points are at 1 Convention Centre Place or 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf.

 

SkyBus

A shuttle bus, SkyBus, operates 24 hours a day between the Airport and the city centre. The service runs approximately every 10-15 minutes during the day at a cost of A$16 one way or A$26 for the return journey. Tram

Tram numbers 96, 112 and 109 travel down Spencer/Clarendon streets and stop opposite the Clarendon Street entrance of the MCEC.

Tram numbers 48 and 70 stop at the end of Flinders Street. Walk towards the Yarra River, across the new pedestrian bridge.

 

Train

Take the train to Southern Cross Station. Tram numbers 96, 109 and 112 travel past Southern Cross Station down Spencer/Clarendon Streets and stop opposite the MCEC.
