We are excited to announce that the GCAP 2022 call for speaker submissions is now open.
This year’s GCAP will be held in-person at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from the 3rd to the 5th of October as part of Melbourne International Games Week.
Our focus for 2022 is Ambition. We will be looking to challenge attendees to realise their own ambitions and create world class products, experiences, studios, and businesses for an ever-expanding global games audience.
We are looking for intermediate-to-advanced level talks based in practical reality, with tangible takeaways and educational outcomes.
Talk subjects should fit within this year’s track focus, but we are open to hearing about all aspects of your expertise. We encourage you to still submit even if it’s outside the track focus!
Our track focus for 2022 is:
Our schedule will be comprised of curated talks taken from both talks submitted via our form and hand-picked content provided by our GCAP Subject Experts Working Group.
All speakers will receive a full pass to both GCAP 22 and the AGDAs. Speakers will be compensated $200 AUD per talk slot, NOT per speaker.
Talks will be given a 50-minute time slot.
We will accept one talk per application. If you wish to submit multiple talks for consideration, please do so through a new form.
Applications close at COB 11/05/22.
We will advise all successful speakers by 08/06/22.
If you have any questions, or would like to inform us of any speakers you’d like to hear from, please email Sav Wolfe at Sav@igea.net
Please note: A comprehensive and detail-oriented application will help us with selection.
