The GCAP Assist Program aims to help early-career individuals and companies get to GCAP that might not otherwise have the financial means to attend. The intention of GCAP Assist is to support the next generation of development talent by facilitating access to the learning, networking and engagement opportunities presented at GCAP 2021.
GCAP Assist is limited to 30 delegates. Successful applicants will receive a complimentary full conference pass to GCAP 2021.
Successful non-Victorian applicants are also eligible for up to $250 towards travel and accommodation expenses in addition to the complementary full conference pass.
This initiative is open to recent graduates, early career games practitioners and individuals from new game development businesses keen to attend GCAP 2021. You must be living in Australia to apply, and over the age of 18.
We welcome and encourage applicants from all backgrounds, and we particularly welcome applications from groups who are currently underrepresented in the games industry. A minimum of 50% of the GCAP Assist passes will be awarded to people from underrepresented groups including women, gender diverse individuals (transgender, non-binary, intersex), and people of colour.
Applications will open soon.
