GCAP 2023 Schedule and Tickets Available Now

4 August 2023 – IGEA is delighted to present the GCAP 2023 schedule and offer tickets for purchase immediately.

Taking place as part of Melbourne International Games Week (#MIGW), GCAP 2023 runs from Monday 2 – Wednesday 4 October and will welcome games industry professionals from Australia and abroad.  GCAP provides education and learning opportunities for attendees, plus connections to invaluable business networks.

The focus for GCAP this year is Empower. We aim to empower developers to achieve their vision for themselves, their teams, their art and expanding their technical skills. GCAP 2023 will feature 11 tracks over two full days, and one day of specialised workshops and industry wide content.

Focusing on the idea of Empower we are pleased to share the first two keynotes presentations. Diandra Lasrado of Crystal Dynamics will be speaking on her career and journey in games, and Screen Australia and Office ForThe Arts will present a joint keynote on funding in Australia. You won’t want to miss out!

Start building your GCAP schedule here.

GCAP 2023 tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.

Your ticket will entitle you to attend every talk on the Schedule, the opportunity to book workshops, plus the ability to connect with other attendees via Meet To Match and the Experts in Residence program.  GCAP ticketholders can also join us for the Ultimate Social on Tuesday afternoon and celebrate the Australian games industry at the AGDAS. More details on all of these programs will be revealed shortly.

This year IGEA is offering GCAP Assist – a program to support under-represented and/or marginalised communities within the games industry.  IGEA has 50 free GCAP Assist tickets available, more details can be found here.

As always, we couldn’t bring you GCAP without the generous support of our sponsors and we sincerely thank:
