GCAP Assist Applications open now!

IGEA is proud to announce the return of the GCAP Assist program.

IGEA facilitates GCAP Assist for under-represented and/or marginalised communities within the games industry. This year we’re delighted to announce IGEA is providing 50 free GCAP Assist tickets to people from those communities.

This initiative is perfectly suited for applicants from all backgrounds, particularly from people who are currently under-represented and/or those with identities marginalised in the games industry including but not limited to; women (Cis and Trans), Queer people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, gender diverse individuals (transgender, non-binary, intersex), people from a lower socioeconomic background, and people of colour. We’re looking to improve pipelines of diverse creators and create opportunities to improve the diversity of the games industry through providing industry connections.

Successful applicants will receive a full complimentary ticket to GCAP, including entry to the AGDAs.

We’re looking for well thought-out applications with a description of yourself and how you intend to make the most of attending GCAP.

You must be over the age of 18 and living in Australia.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome by the 1st of September.

Edit: Applications have been extended to COB August 25th.
