VicScreen presents: GCAP Pitch

Sep

This year we will be running GCAP Pitch – a live pitching session enabling the team/individual pitching a project to get instant feedback from a panel of experienced experts who regularly fund and invest in games projects.

GCAP Pitch will be hosted by Lisy Kane from Kepler Interactive (which also includes Kowloon Nights game fund) to learn more about the wild world of funding for games.

GCAP Pitch is an opportunity for developers to pitch their game to a panel of international investors, publishers, and platform holders.  For those who aren’t quite ready, come and get some insights and real-time feedback on how to put your best foot forward. This will be a great opportunity for networking and connecting the dots on what works and doesn’t work when it comes to honing your elevator pitch.

When:

Day 3 of GCAP, Wednesday 4 October

Session 1 – 9am – 9.50am

Session 2 – 10am – 10.50am

Your panellists

Lisy Kane (Kepler Interactive)

Kirsten-Lee (Landfall Games)

Jon Cartwright (Team 17 and more)

VicScreen,

plus many more to be announced.

How can you pitch?

GCAP ticket holders can submit their game or project to be presented via this form.

Numbers are strictly limited.  A variety of teams will get a chance to present a 5-10 minute pitch of their game to a live audience of GCAP attendees, after which they’ll receive 5-10 minutes of feedback from the panel.

This is a great opportunity so get moving!  Any inquiries should be directed to events@igea.net
